Being on time is very important to learning.
When students arrive a few minutes before the bell, they have time to chat with friends, make their way to class safely and get all the items they need before entering the classroom. When students arrive late, they not only miss important learning, but are often rushed and unprepared, forgetting things either at home or in their lockers. Staff are on duty every day beginning at 8:45 a.m., so students should aim to arrive at school for 8:50 a.m. Please work with your child(ren) this week to get into the successful habit of arriving early to school. September is the perfect time to develop successful routines, including being on time!
