Orange Shirt Day at Watson

Friday, September 29th was Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day is about recognizing the resiliency and bravery of Residential School Survivors.  It is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, school and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.

To recognize Orange Shirt Day at Watson, our students placed orange handprints on a banner.  At Watson we recognize that every child matters!
