A reminder to all our families that if your child has a medical condition, such as asthma or a severe allergy that requires an Epi Pen, and the school isn’t yet aware of this condition, to please make an appointment to speak with Mrs. Crossley or Ms. Murray.  We’ll work together to help keep your child healthy and happy at school!

Medic Alert Bracelets

Through the “No Child Without” program, any child between the ages of 4 and 14 can receive, free of charge, a medic alert bracelet to identify chronic medical conditions, allergies or special needs.

Some chronic conditions include: asthma, diabetes (type 1 and type 2), congenital heart disease, celiac disease, ADHD, autism, epilepsy, cystic fibrosis, etc.

Some allergies include: milk, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, shellfish, eggs, soy, fish, latex, insect stings, penicillin, amoxicillin, etc.

Some devices/Implants include: insulin pump, pacemaker, shunt, cochlear implant, etc.

Some medications: Epipen, Salbutamol, Advair, Insulin, etc.
