Area Track and Field Meets

Dear Families,

The Area Track and Field meets will be taking place on Tuesday June 14th and  Wednesday, June 15th at Sutton High School.

The Intermediate Team, grades 7 and 8, will compete on Tuesday, June 14th.  The Junior Team, grades 4 to 6, will compete on Wednesday, June 15th.  The list of students competing in the various events is still being finalized, and permission forms, as well as information notices with schedules, is forthcoming.

Intermediate Badminton Club

Yesterday the Intermediate Badminton Team swung by Keswick High School to hit some birdies at the Area Tournament. This year for the first time we had a full contingent: 2 male, 2 female and 2 mixed teams. It was an enjoyable season with as many as 18 players out for Badminton club. This year’s tournament was host to over 120 badminton players playing on 6 courts. Each team was guaranteed 2 games in the double elimination tournament. One standout team placed third and are representing the North in the Regional Tournament.

Intermediate Badminton Club

The intermediate badminton club will practice on Wednesday and Fridays from 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. in the gym.  Students only need to bring proper gym wear and running shoes.  All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to come out and learn badminton skills and play games.  Boys, girls, and mixed doubles team will eventually be determined for the area tournament on May 12th.

Grade 7 & 8 Immunizations Reminder

A reminder to all families that our grade 7 and 8 students have their second round of immunizations on Thursday, January 21st, 2016.

Junior Achievement – Intermediate Students

This week our intermediate classes will be participating in the Junior Achievement and will be exploring real-life business issues.

It’s certain our students will learn a lot!
